Founder — Goran Milev
Founder — Goran Milev
Goran Milev is a Serbian-American actor, filmmaker, producer, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience across theatre, film, and television. He completed eight years of professional theatre training at the School of Theatre Arts and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in the former Yugoslavia and began his professional career as an actor before expanding into directing, producing, film development, and distribution.
Goran has written, produced, and directed documentaries including Babylon and Light Painting, which premiered on Serbian National Television (RTS) in 2014. He currently serves as Executive Producer of Sleep No More – The Director’s Cut, directed by Antonia Bogdanovich and starring Rebecca Romijn, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Luke Kleintank. The film premiered at the Festival de Cannes in 2024, following its official preview at the Rome International Film Festival in Rome, Georgia, in 2023.
Goran founded GM Films in 2012 and later created Cinesomnia as an extension of his vision for independent film distribution and audience discovery. His work continues to bring together filmmaking, production, distribution, technology, and entrepreneurship.
